Fabrice Berrux

Fabrice Berrux, a graduate of the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Dijon, is the founder of Société 18 Août, a design studio known for its quirky and unconventional creations since the late 1980s. He has designed iconic pieces for Roche Bobois, including the FLOWER — a tribute to Andy Warhol — and the HOT-COLD table mats inspired by Land Art. In 1991, Berrux co-founded the lighting design company Dix Heures Dix, whose works have been featured in gallery shops worldwide and exhibited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. His lighting designs for Roche Bobois stand out for their innovation, incorporating materials like pleated fabric, altuglass resin, and transformative bulbs that redefine the ambiance of a space.
