The Royal is a real step forward for VELLORO. It's hand carved details of the intricate marquetry design and finishes, are executed with amazing precision by our artisans. Made from wood, each of it's details are executed with precision, from it's frame in a baroque and minimalist faceted style, to it's unique table top, in a palisander veneer patchwork collage, finished with a high gloss varnish. This extraordinary piece combines new design and architecture trends, but never forgetting the rich tradition of the past. The dual personality of this table is beautifully combined, Baroque meets clean lines, while reflecting Boca do Lobo’s philosophy of challenging the past through the future.

The table surface is finished in a palisander wood veneer, with a patchwork collage. It's legs are finished in high gloss black lacquer finish.

Fabrice Berrux
Fabrice Berrux, a graduate of the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Dijon, is the founder of Société 18 Août, a design studio known for its quirky and unconventional creations since the late 1980s. He has designed iconic pieces for Roche Bobois, including the FLOWER — a tribute to Andy Warhol — and the HOT-COLD table mats inspired by Land Art. In 1991, Berrux co-founded the lighting design company Dix Heures Dix, whose works have been featured in gallery shops worldwide and exhibited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. His lighting designs for Roche Bobois stand out for their innovation, incorporating materials like pleated fabric, altuglass resin, and transformative bulbs that redefine the ambiance of a space.
