VELLORO – COMMERCIAL WARRANTY CONTRACT

I. Scope of the Velloro Commercial Warranty

  • I. Scope of the Velloro Commercial Warranty

  • Velloro furniture is crafted to the highest standards of design and durability. Our commercial warranty covers the following:

  • Manufacturing or design defects that appear under normal product use.

  • Structural solidity: all elements that ensure the furniture is strong and reliable for its intended use.

  • Durability and materials: all elements that ensure the product will last under proper use.

  • Safety: all elements that ensure the product can be used without risk to the consumer.

  • Intended use: all elements required for the product to function as designed.

  • Warranty duration by component:

  • Structure (frames, supporting skeletons): 5 years

  • Upholstery and finishes (fabric, leather, lacquer, patinas, varnishes, etc.): 2 years

  • Mechanical and motorized components (manual and electric mechanisms, recliners, headrests, extensions, convertible systems): 2 years

  • Electrical components (batteries, transformers, switches, control systems): 2 years

II. Exclusions from the Velloro Commercial Warranty

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal changes in comfort and appearance, such as softening of foam or stretching of upholstery, consistent with everyday use.

  • Residual sagging of leather or fabric upholstery considered normal wear. In cases of doubt, Velloro may arrange for a certified expert inspection.

  • Dimensional variations within manufacturing tolerances:

    • ±3 cm for upholstered seating dimensions (sofas, chairs, armchairs)

    • ±0.5% for hard furniture

    • ±3% for rugs

  • Discoloration or deterioration caused by:

    • Excessive exposure to natural or artificial light

    • Use of unsuitable cleaning products or failure to follow care guidelines

    • External causes such as accidents, liquids, stains, burns, scratches, pets, etc.

  • Improper assembly, adjustments, or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons.

  • Effects of perspiration or dye transfer from textiles (clothing, throws, cushions, accessories, etc.).

  • Damage caused by improper use, overloading, or exceeding recommended weight limits specified in assembly and maintenance instructions.

  • Damage to zippers, joints, or accessory mechanisms caused by misuse.

  • General deterioration from inappropriate or abnormal use (tears, scratches, scuffs).

  • Use of products in public, commercial, or professional settings unless specifically stated on the sales order.

  • Repairs or modifications carried out without written approval from Velloro.

In disputes requiring clarification of damage origin, Velloro may request an independent laboratory or certification body to conduct an expert assessment. If the damage is determined to result from misuse or lack of proper maintenance, inspection and repair costs will be charged to the customer.

III. Products Not Covered

The Velloro commercial warranty does not apply to:

  • Products not fully paid for at the time of delivery.

  • Discounted, clearance, or showroom display products sold as is (unless otherwise specified on the invoice).

  • Products intended for export or relocated outside the country of purchase.

IV. General Provisions

  • Warranty claims will take into account reasonable wear and tear.

  • Any product collected directly by the client or their transporter from a Velloro warehouse or showroom cannot be subject to claims related to transport or installation, as Velloro is not responsible for these services.

V. Legal Guarantees

In addition to the Velloro commercial warranty, customers retain the full protection of applicable legal guarantees under consumer law, including:

  1. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

    • Valid for two years from delivery.

    • Covers non-conformities and provides the right to free repair or replacement within 30 days.

    • If repair is chosen but replacement is required, a new two-year guarantee begins from the replacement date.

    • The consumer may request a price reduction or contract cancellation if conformity cannot be restored within legal timeframes.

  2. Legal Guarantee of Hidden Defects

    • Valid for two years from the discovery of the defect.

    • Allows the customer to keep the product with a partial refund or return it for a full refund.

All rights mentioned above are governed by applicable consumer protection laws.

VI. Warranty Claims

To make a claim under this warranty, please contact your Velloro sales associate or the Customer Care team using the details provided on your order form and sales documentation.
